Warehouse Shortages, Shipping Delays and Summer Releases

Diverse book lovers,
I want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank you all for your support of my little book store; and all of the authors and illustrators that Brown Babies Books looks to highlight and support.  I see you and appreciate you.
Recent events have led to some shipping delays and lost deliveries this week which have caused a few orders to be delayed in processing times. I want to assure you all that I am working diligently to fill all orders in a timely manner as best as I can; thank you for your patience and understanding.
We have also seen the annual "summer reading lists" coming from various educational districts, schools, teachers, libraries and literature fans over the last two weeks.  While these lists are definitely needed and appreciated, they can cause a sudden "rush" for popular titles which have led to recent stock shortages with warehouse suppliers.
Brown Babies Books has been working to update our website with such stock shortages to avoid additional delays and disappointments with orders.  Hey, chin up though book lovers - books are rarely out of stock forever.  This means that supplies will replenish soon and be readily available for purchase and enjoyment.
Never fret, as we approach summer we in the book world know that we can anticipate some new book releases.  Yay!  This means that while we may be dealing with stock shortages of current popular titles, there are new titles waiting for their time in the spotlight later this month and through September.
